Yesterday was a very unfortunate day here in America with the swearing-in of President Joe Biden Jr. It is a mark in time, and I believe it’s the beginning of the end.
Those are pretty dramatic words. But this event only confirms to me God’s decision and God’s choice for this nation, and for the world. God is lifting His hand of covering and protection from this nation. He is giving this country what it wants, which is wickedness. All the prayers of God’s people, and all the numerous prophecies of another Trump term, has not prevented this political change. To me, the handwriting is on the wall.
I look at the picture above of Biden’s hand on the Bible, and I pray that he would could come to the realization of the truth it contains. But it is such a mockery and such a dichotomy between it and the ideology of this new Administration, and the government that has now taken control of this nation.
But our hope is not in America, or politics, or a man, or even an ideology. Our trust and our hope is in Christ alone. Despite the plan of the Enemy, God is going to win out, and the same sovereign God that allowed this major political change is also going to rise up in the power of His might, and put down all wickedness and ALL unrighteous authorities.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Gal. 6:7.
President Biden quoted one scripture in his Inaugural Address yesterday. He quoted Psalms 30:5 “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” His idea of the joy coming is much different than ours. But I believe it was a prophetic word.
There is a joy coming when God destroys the plan of the Enemy (his included). When all wickedness is put under, and God establishes righteousness on the earth. That’s the agenda of God, and that’s where our focus must be. Not in horses or chariots, but in the name of the Lord our God. God’s Kingdom is coming, and He is setting up the Enemy for his final defeat. In that we take refuge… in that we take hope. IN GOD WE TRUST.
We must have an eternal perspective. Though we are not subject or limited to this day, or this time, or even this citizenship. We are in the world, but not OF the world. We are strangers and pilgrims in our particular country. We seek a better country – a City whose builder and maker is God. And I’m not speaking of heaven, or the sweet by and by. I’m speaking of the Kingdom of God here on this beautiful terra firma. May His Kingdom come, and His will be done, on this earth as it is in heaven. Praise God.
I Cor. 15:22-25 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
